The fabric Kongo by Casamance belongs to the Terre D'Aventure collection.
This remarkable fabric, made of mixed fibres and embroidered across the whole width, is inspired by the weavings of the Kongo people. For this African people, the raffia leaf is at the heart of weaving and can be used in zigzags or geometric shapes. Destined for those of the highest rank, the fabrics are then coloured using vegetable dyes. Kongo is an all over embroidery created using 6 monochrome yarns.
