The fabric Melumbo by Casamance belongs to the Acqua Viva collection.
An aquatic plant with delicately scented flowers, the Melumbo (or lotus flower) spreads over a linen cloth. The digital print gives the colours intensity, which dilute and blend in the fabric, as if absorbed by blotting paper. The floral and aquatic theme of Melumbo fabric recalls the gardens at Giverny, which so inspired Monet's Water Lilies.
