Description
Mango wood is strong and durable and comes from the mango fruit tree. This tree grows mainly in Southeast Asia and in India the mango fruit stands for prosperity, luxury and wealth. The wood has basically a warm color, but it is also characterized by strong shades of color, where sometimes light, yellowish pieces may occur. For this cute table set Kerf (consisting of an egg cup, a coaster and a small herb dish) the natural structure of the wood was strengthened by hand-carving lines into the surface and leaving it in its natural state.
