The fabric Modica by Ardecora belongs to the Trinacria collection.
The city of Modica is known as one of the strongholds of baroque architecture in Sicily, and served as the inspiration for this atmospheric and elegant plain fabric. Woven on a cupro warp and finished with silk in the weft, this quality is what gives MODICA its exquisite sophistication and subtle sheen. The soft and sensual colors of the 11 colorways are highlighted by the special feel of this very refined, piece-dyed textile. MODICA is produced in an artisanal workshop near Lake Como in Italy. The cupro yarn is made in Japan and is biodegradable.
