The Gouache rug by the deigner Noël Marinho is a true piece of textile art, masterfully combining simplicity and originality. Inspired by motifs originally intended for ceramics, it is distinguished by an interpretation of shapes where rounded curves meet straight lines. This selection of colors lends warmth and depth to your interior design.
Symmetry, at first sight regular, reveals a wealth of asymmetrical details that add subtle originality. Ideally suited to a living room or under a dining room table, its soft woolly texture and discreet nuances make it a perfect match for Scandinavian wood furniture or warm velvet pieces.
The designer Noël Marinho played an active role in the heyday of Brazilian modern architecture from the mid-1950s onwards. Throughout his long career, Noel Marinho exercised his creativity in Art and Design alongside his activities as an architect. Today, Studio Design Noel Marinho edits this artistic heritage, past and more recent, to create Toulemonde Bochart rugs of dynamic harmony, based on Noel's drawings, collages and paintings.
