The Nanquim rug by designer Noël Marinho illustrates the designer's innovation in architectural design, evoking mystery and refinement. Inspired by the architectural contrasts of Nanjing, this rug is made from high-quality New Zealand wool, hand-tufted for exquisite rendering and supreme comfort.
The alternation between filled and empty spaces is masterfully represented in this rug, where the depth of black underlines a refined geometry that enlivens the space without cluttering it. Ideal for a bold, elegant and timeless design rug.
The designer Noël Marinho played an active role in the heyday of Brazilian modern architecture from the mid-1950s onwards. Throughout his long career, Noel Marinho exercised his creativity in Art and Design alongside his activities as an architect. Today, Studio Design Noel Marinho edits this artistic heritage, past and more recent, to create Toulemonde Bochart rugs of dynamic harmony, based on Noel's drawings, collages and paintings.
