Laurent Maugoust, a graduate of the Camondo school, created his studio in 2003 and worked with Jean-Philippe Nuel for nearly ten years. He is dedicated to the upscale hotel sector, working for venues steeped in history with a marked architectural style. He attaches particular importance to detail and loves fine, authentic materials, creating contrasts that affirm a place's identity and reveal its harmony.

These refined compositions, created by Laurent Maugoust as part of the refitting of Hotel Victor Hugo in Paris, are perfect for conjuring up a palace lifestyle. The rugs are meticulously worked, with a subtle play on colour and relief, to bring a poetic atmosphere to the interiors they decorate.
