Les Toiles du Soleil are 100% high quality cotton fabrics. The wooven-cotton striped fabric come from the catalan region of France and is made in the authentic way. It is thick and ideal for upholestery and curtains. 350 m2/g. Excellent resistance to the sun. This brand is regularly advertised in many decor magasines.

All Toiles du Soleil fabrics have been woven by crasftsmen, with the use of first quality pure cotton threads. This twined thread called "retors" in technical terms, is made of two threads rolled together to produce one final thread. This type of thread is used in the weft as well as in the warp, which gives the fabrics this somewhat rough touch.

Its coloration, specific to "Les Toiles du Soleil", comes from a staining process named "grand teint". This quality of dying guarantees that colours do not easily fade away, and ensures the best held of colours at washing.

After care : Let it soak into water for some hours. Then a washing at maxi 30° C is required. Afterward, a 60°C washing is enough with a soft spinning. No drying machine, warm iron.

To be noted : As for any fabric woven with cotton thread, expect a 7 to 10% shrinkage. This mainly occures on the lenght and not on the width. Please take in account the shrinkage in your final required dimensions for your order.

Usage :  

Fabrics LES TOILES DU SOLEIL are suitable for all home decor such as drapes, curtains, tablecloth, dish towels, as well as table linen. It is also great for upholstery.
