Our contract with you :
After you have placed your order we will send you an order acknowledgement by email. Our acceptance of your order and completion of our contract with you does not take place until the goods are dispatched to you. We will not be held wholly or partly responsible for any circumstances beyond our reasonable control, which cause the delay or failure to deliver the goods or services, or to comply with any other obligation.
When goods are in our warehouse and are in stock we deliver within 3-10 working days of approving your order. If delivery is likely to be longer, we will give you a likely delivery date. If, for example, an item is unavailable, we may advise you par E-mail and propose you an alternative if the original good is definitvely out of order. We reserve the right to accept in part or in full, or decline, any order or request.
In case of unusual volume or weight, the shipping of furniture, mirrors or carpets can require specific carrier services if sent outside mainland France. In such cases, transportation costs calculated on your order may require adjustments that would be communicated to you prior to shipping. It may also happen that the size or the weight of the goods exceeds the usual freight costs. In this case, déco et compagnie may ask you to pay a complement for shipping.
Your use of the products
All our products are for domestic use only. If you intend to use them for business, then you must check that they are suitable. You may also invalidate any warranty if the products are used for business purposes.
Whether products have been used for domestic or business purposes, deco et compagnie does not, by law, limit or exclude its liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, breach of duty, gross negligence or willful misconduct. This clause does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Returning goods to us
You have 7 days from the receipt of your order in which to return any item to us. They must be in their original condition. Once we have received your returned goods, we will reship the same good for free or refund your money in full, using the same method by which you paid for them.
IMPORTANT : When your parcel is being delivered, you have to make sure that the parcel is in good condition, and corresponds to your delivery slip. If you notice a defective packaging, a crushed, open parcel or which seems to you litigious, note precise reserves on the delivery slip. If the parcel is apparently damaged, we ask you to refuse it, to leave it to the carrier, or to refuse it at the post office, then to inform quickly decoetcompagnie.com. If you accept a damaged delivery, we won't be able to offer you a refund.
Trading Area and VAT
All prices include VAT unless the product is exempt. No discount will be given on products where VAT is not chargeable, nor accountable to HM Customs & Excise or similar authority within the European Union. Where VAT is chargeable, we reserve the right to amend our prices to reflect any changes in VAT that may occur. The new price will be shown on the product page on the site, your order confirmation email and delivery note.

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions if necessary. You will be subject to the terms and conditions at the time that you use the website unless any change is required by law or government authority. If any of these terms and conditions is deemed invalid or unenforceable by any competent authority, that condition will be removed. This will not affect any of the remaining terms and conditions. Any delay or failure by us to exercise our legal rights within our contract with you should not be seen as a waiver of our legal rights. These terms and conditions and the contract between you and us will be governed by the laws of France and any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the French courts.
